With the number of antisemitic incidents increasing almost threefold in the last five years, and a virtual explosion of internet hate fuelling such anti-Jewish activity, the work of B'nai Brith Canada is more important than ever.
In an effort to counter these harmful trends, the organization produces an annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents which is cited by government and research agencies worldwide. It runs a 24/7 Anti-Hate Hotline to ensure that victims of antisemitism receive guidance and assistance. It supports students on campus who face harassment and intimidation. Its professionals work with police to apprehend perpetrators, and urge the government to strengthen anti-hate legislation.
B'nai Brith also provides safe and secure housing and programming for seniors and those with physical and mental disabilities. A new seniors building in Montreal and an Alzheimer's Home in Toronto will enhance the valuable services it already provides to the vulnerable in our community.
Your financial support is necessary to ensure that B'nai Brith can continue its vital work for the community.
